Tuition rates are based on a yearly fee that is
broken down to a monthly rate for your
convenience. Get $5 off per month by
signing up for our auto-withdrawal payment
system.
Payment by Automatic Bank Account Debit or
Automatic Credit Card Charge: Tuition can be
debited from your bank account or charged
to your credit card the 5th day of each
month from October through June. You
must sign an auto-debit or automatic
credit card charge authorization form.
You must pay for your first month’s
tuition at the time of your first lesson.

Policies and Procedures
Recital Production Fees: Production fee of
$125 is due on or before December 1.
If you sign up for the automatic
withdrawal, you will be charged this
production fee automatically with your Dec
payment. This fee includes costume,
alterations, production expenses, recital
T-Shirt, and two tickets to the show.
Students who choose not to
participate in our recital must
fill out a non-participation form in
person with administrative staff by Nov
15th to avoid production fee.
Production is non-refundable
after December 15th.
Withdrawal and Refunds: One-month notice from the first of the month
is required to discontinue any classes.
Withdrawal must be done in person and will
not be accepted over the phone.
Withdrawal must occur within the first
7 days of the month, and if you do not
withdrawal before the 7th you will be
charged for the following month.
To withdraw from classes a parent or adult
student must: 1. Inform school
administration in person, and 2.
Complete and sign a withdrawal form
provided by the school office. All
automatic bank debiting or credit card
charges will stop after the one-month
notice period. Leigh's School of
Dance reserves the right to terminate
lessons to any students without notice.
In such a case a refund for unused lessons
will be given.
Absences:
Absences are excused
and you may make up your lesson at any
other scheduled class time that is the
same class. If there is a short
month, you are welcome to make up the
missed weeks. Check with your
teacher for the best time to make-up.
Parent’s Responsibility to be Aware of
Dates and Events:
It is the responsibility of the parent or
adult student to be aware of all dance
school activities, such as viewing days,
recitals, extra classes, and dates the
school is open or closed. The school
will post all such notices on the dance
“What’s New” board or the dance bulletin
board as well as sending monthly “Dance
Notes” home with the students to keep
parents up to date with what is happening.
Leigh’s also offers monthly newsletters
via e-mail. Sign up at the front
desk. It is the parent’s
responsibility to regularly check these
boards to ensure they are informed.
It is the responsibility of the parents or
adult students to inform the dance school
of any address or telephone number change.
Care of Students: The school is not
responsible for providing before or after
class care for students. Parents
with students under the age of 9 are to
pick up their student in the classroom.
Students are not to be left unattended at
the school for an excessive time before or
after class.
Injuries: Parents, legal guardians of minor students,
and adult students waive the right to any
legal action against Leigh’s School of
Dance for any injury sustained on school
property resulting from normal dance
activity or any other activity conducted
by the students before, during, or after
class time.
Photo Release: The school is hereby
granted permission to take photographs of
the students to use in brochures, web
sites, posters, advertisements and other
promotional materials the dance school
creates. Permission is also hereby
granted for Leigh’s School of Dance to
copyright such photographs in its name.
Miscellaneous:
Any class with
less than six students may be combined or
canceled. If this occurs, you
will be notified and every effort will be
made to find a replacement class.
No gum is allowed in class or
in costume. No food or drink is
allowed in the lobby – there is a snack
area at the back door upstairs.
Classes are closed to visitors except on
scheduled visiting days.

Supplies must be purchased by Feb. 1st.
Please buy all of your supplies at the
dance wear shop in the studio so that all
students have the same thing.
The store hours are Monday – Thursday 4:30
– 8:00.

Class Descriptions
Baby & Me
Spend quality time together while your child learns to
explore movement, build motor skills, & gain
confidence. Dancers who aren’t quite ready to leave
mom or dad will have a great time learning fun songs
and movements that can be done outside of dance. This
class has a relaxed atmosphere for the comfort of
parents and dancers alike.
Tiny 2’s
Children in this class are introduced to song and
dance in a relaxed and fun environment. Using creative
movement and imagination, dancers are encouraged to
explore the world of movement and expression.
Pre-School Combo
Dancers will be exposed to basic movements in tap,
ballet, tumbling, and creative movement. This upbeat,
fun, but structured class introduces correct technique
and terminology to teach our dancers self-confidence,
balance, strength, and body awareness.
Dance Combo
This is an excellent class to introduce skills in
tap, ballet and jazz. Dancers will focus on learning
correct technique and vocabulary in a fun and
comfortable atmosphere. This is great way to improve
self confidence, strength, balance, and body
awareness, while getting physical activity and
expressing themselves.
Drill Team/ Hip Hop/Jazz
This class is a combination of our dance class
favorites. Focus on leaps, turns, and kicks while
learning combinations in jazz, funk, pom, and
free-style.
Boys
Athletic Dance Boys will get a
great workout in this dance class. While they tumble,
hip hop, and break dance these boys will build
strength and agility. Don’t miss out on this
opportunity for your boys to learn to feel comfortable
while they dance.
Hip Hop This fast paced
class is the hottest dance style of today. Combining
jazz, funk, and free-style this class is an amazing
creative outlet and awesome exercise.
High School Musical
Dance Class They love the movie!
They love the songs! This class incorporates music
from High School Musical with different styles of
dance such as lyrical, hip hop, and jazz.
Hip “POP’
This fun class is an introduction to hip
hop teaching basic jazz, hip hop, and tumbling.
Pom/Cheer
Girls will combine dance, cheer, stunts, and basic
tumbling for a high energy class!!
Pop Starz
This is a jazz based class that dances to all of our
favorite POP star’s music. This class is for dancers
who love to have fun!!!
Jazz/Stretch This jazz
class is designed especially to help stretch your
body. Basics of jazz dance and yoga will be
introduced. Dancers will utilize every muscle in their
body for an over all relaxed sensation.
Jazz/Strength
This class combines the basics of jazz and
incorporates Pilates and other strengthening
exercises. This class is designed for beginners.
Adult Jazz/Hip Hop
Come get your groove on in this
funky jazz class. Learn funky combinations for fun and
exercise.
Ballroom/Swing Learn the basics of
different styles of ballroom dancing in this class.
You will be introduced to the waltz and east coast
swing while having a great time in a relaxed
atmosphere. Special requests will be taken in class
for Latin dance or two-step. A partner for this class
is required
Adult
Tap Beginner and intermediate
tappers will love this high energy class. If you love
tap now is the time!! It’s great exercise and a lot of
fun!
Adult Ballet
This is a beginner class that will cover all the
basics of ballet while strengthening your body.
